Dr. Ari Isaacson
Associate Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology; Director of Clinical Research at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.

Dr. Isaacson completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency and Vascular & Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of North Carolina after 3 years of service as a flight surgeon in the US Navy. In 2013, he stayed in Chapel Hill and joined the faculty as an assistant professor. Dr. Isaacson’s clinical interests include arterial embolization, interventional oncology and vascular imaging. He is the principal investigator for multiple trials of new embolization applications.
